[Proximity]For a sturdy connection, ensure that the Aqara Door and Window Sensor is within 400 inches of the Aqara Zigbee hub, and the hub is within the same range from the Wi-Fi router. Additionally, make sure the hub and the router are on the same local area network (LAN).
The Aqara Door/Window Sensor notifies your phone and activates the Aqara Hub's alarm if doors/windows are opened without authorization. It can also manage other Aqara devices depending on the door/window status. Create automations in the Aqara Home app. For instance, when the door is opened at night, the Aqara Door and Window Sensor will signal the Aqara Wall Switch to illuminate the room.
